“Honor your father and mother” — which is the first (prōtē | πρώτη | nom sg fem) commandment with a promise —

The first (prōtos | πρῶτος | nom sg masc) man was of the earth, made of dust; the second man is of heaven.

So also it is written, “The first (prōtos | πρῶτος | nom sg masc) man, Adam, became a living soul.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

For I passed on to you as of first (prōtois | πρώτοις | dat pl neut) importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
