Then it goes and takes along seven other spirits more evil than itself, — seven of them! — and after going in they settle down to live there. So the last state of that person has become worse than the first.” (prōtōn | πρώτων | gen pl neut)
Now when Jesus arose early on the first (prōtē | πρώτῃ | dat sg fem) day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.
And on the first (prōtē | πρώτῃ | dat sg fem) day of Unleavened Bread, when people were slaughtering the Passover lamb, his disciples said to him, “Where do you want us to go and prepare for you to eat the Passover?”
And one of the scribes came up and heard them disputing. Seeing how well Jesus had answered them, he put this question to him: “Which commandment is the most important (prōtē | πρώτη | nom sg fem) of all?”
And sitting down, he called the twelve and said to them, “If anyone would be first (prōtos | πρῶτος | nom sg masc), he must be last of all and servant of all.”
