For they themselves report regarding us what kind of reception we had among you, and how (pōs | πῶς | conj) you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God,
But now that you have come to know God — or rather, are known by God — how (pōs | πῶς | particle) can you turn back again to the feeble and inferior elementary principles of the world? How can you want to be their slaves all over again?
But when I saw that they were not behaving in a manner consistent with the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas before them all, “If you, born a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, by what right (pōs | πῶς | conj) are you trying to make the Gentiles live like Jews?”
Otherwise, if you are praising God by the Spirit, how (pōs | πῶς | conj) can anyone in the position of an outsider say, “Amen,” to your thanksgiving since he does not know what you are saying?
So it is with you; if you do not speak a clear message with your tongue, how (pōs | πῶς | conj) will anyone know what is being said? You will be speaking into the air.
