Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going, so how (pōs | πῶς | conj) can we know the way?”

The crowd responded, “We have heard from the law that the Christ is to remain forever; so how (pōs | πῶς | conj) is it that you are saying that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?”

So the Jews kept saying, “See how (pōs | πῶς | particle) he loved him!”

Therefore they said to him, “What did he do to you? How (pōs | πῶς | conj) did he open your eyes?”

but how (pōs | πῶς | conj) it is that he now sees we do not know, nor do we know who opened his eyes. Ask him, he is an adult. He will speak for himself.”

and asked them, saying, “Is this your son, who you say was born blind? How (pōs | πῶς | conj) then does he now see?”

Then some of the Pharisees said, “This man is not from God because he does not keep the Sabbath.” But others said, “How (pōs | πῶς | conj) can a sinful man perform miraculous signs like this?” And there was a division among them.

Then the Pharisees also asked him how (pōs | πῶς | conj) he had received his sight. And he said to them, “He daubed mud on my eyes, and I washed, and now I see.”

So they asked him, “How (pōs | πῶς | conj) then were your eyes opened?”

They replied to him, “We are descendants of Abraham and have never been slaves to anyone! How (pōs | πῶς | conj) can you say, ‘You will become free’?”
