And when Judas arrived, immediately he went up to Jesus and said, “Rabbi!” (rhabbi | ῥαββί | voc sg masc) And he kissed him.

And thinking back, Peter said to him, “Rabbi (rhabbi | ῥαββί | voc sg masc), look! The fig tree that you cursed has withered!”

And answering, Peter said to Jesus, “Rabbi (rhabbi | ῥαββί | voc sg masc), it is good that we are here. Let us make three shelters: one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah” —

Without hesitation Judas went up to Jesus and said, “Greetings, Rabbi!” (rhabbi | ῥαββί | voc sg masc) and kissed him.

Then Judas, who would betray him, said, “Surely not I, Rabbi?” (rhabbi | ῥαββί | voc sg masc) Jesus answered him, “It is as you have said.”

But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ (rhabbi | ῥαββί | nom sg masc) for you have but one teacher, and you are all brothers.

and greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called ‘Rabbi’ (rhabbi | ῥαββί | nom sg masc) by others.

And in the same way was not also Rahab (Hraab | Ῥαάβ | nom sg fem) the harlot justified by works when she took in the spies and sent them out by another way?

By faith Rahab (Hraab | Ῥαάβ | nom sg fem) the prostitute did not perish with the unbelievers, because she had received the spies with peace.

So because I could bear it no longer, I sent to find out about your faith; for fear that somehow (pōs | πως | particle) the tempter had tempted you and our labor had been in vain.
