And answering him, Jesus said, “What do you want me to do for you?” And the blind man said to him, “Rabbi (rhabbouni | ῥαββουνί | voc sg masc), that I might see again.”
The disciples said to him, “Rabbi (rhabbi | ῥαββί | voc sg masc), just recently the Jews were trying to stone you, and are you going back there again?”
So they came to John and said to him, “Rabbi (rhabbi | ῥαββί | voc sg masc), that man who was with you on the far side of the Jordan, the one to whom you bore witness — well, he is baptizing, and everyone is going to him!”
This man came to Jesus by night and said to him, “Rabbi (rhabbi | ῥαββί | voc sg masc), we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one is able to perform the miraculous signs that you are doing unless God is with him.”
When Jesus turned around and saw them following him, he said to them, “What do you want?” They said to him, “Rabbi” (rhabbi | ῥαββί | voc sg masc) (which translated means “Teacher”), “where are you staying?”
