So the Pharisees said to him, “Look, why are they doing on the Sabbath?” (sabbasin | σάββασιν | dat pl neut) what is not lawful on the Sabbath?” (sabbasin | σάββασιν | dat pl neut)
It happened that Jesus on Sabbath (sabbasin | σάββασιν | dat pl neut) Jesus was going through the grainfields, and his disciples his began to make their way along, plucking heads of grain.
Now after the Sabbath (sabbatōn | σαββάτων | gen pl neut), toward daybreak of the first day of the week (sabbatōn | σαββάτων | gen pl neut), Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb.
But he said to them, “What man is there among you who has only one sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath (sabbasin | σάββασιν | dat pl neut), will he not take hold of it and lift it out?
and there he saw a man with a withered hand. And they asked him, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?” (sabbasin | σάββασιν | dat pl neut) — so they might have a charge to bring against him.
