So Agrippa said to Paul, “You have permission to speak for yourself.” (seautou | σεαυτοῦ | gen sg masc2nd) Then Paul stretched out his hand and began to make his defense:
I tell you the solemn truth, when you were young, you used to fasten on your (seauton | σεαυτόν | acc sg masc2nd) clothes and go wherever you wanted, but when you grow old, you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will fasten on your clothes and take you where you do not want to go.”
Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, what has happened that you are going to reveal yourself (seauton | σεαυτόν | acc sg masc2nd) to us, and not to the world?”
The Jews answered him, “It is not for a noble work that we intend to stone you but for blasphemy; it is because you, a mere man, are making yourself (seauton | σεαυτόν | acc sg masc2nd) God.”
Surely you are not greater than our father Abraham, are you? He died as did the prophets. Who are you making yourself (seauton | σεαυτόν | acc sg masc2nd) out to be?”
