But while Pilate was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent him a message, saying, “Have nothing to do with that innocent man; for I have suffered many things in a dream today (sēmeron | σήμερον | adverb) on account of him.”
and in the morning, ‘It will be stormy today (sēmeron | σήμερον | adverb), for the sky is red and threatening.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot evaluate the signs of the times?
And as for you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? No, you will be brought down to Hades! For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Sodom, had been done the mighty works done in you it would have remained to this day (sēmeron | σήμερον | adverb).
Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is here today (sēmeron | σήμερον | adverb) but tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
Now if anyone does not obey what we say in this epistle, take note (sēmeiousthe | σημειοῦσθε | pres mid imperative 2 pl) of that person and do not associate with him, so that he will feel ashamed.
And the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet, who in his presence performed signs (sēmeia | σημεῖα | acc pl neut) by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire burning with sulfur.
