As he came to that spot, Jesus looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry and climb down, for today (sēmeron | σήμερον | adverb) I must stay at your house.”
Nevertheless I must continue on my way today (sēmeron | σήμερον | adverb) and tomorrow and the next day; because it is not possible for a prophet to die outside of Jerusalem.”
And he said to them, “Go and tell that fox, ‘Behold, I am casting out demons and performing cures today (sēmeron | σήμερον | adverb) and tomorrow, and the third day I complete my task.’
If God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today (sēmeron | σήμερον | adverb) and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, you people of little faith!
Astonishment gripped them all, and they began to glorify God. They were filled with awe, saying, “We have seen incredible things today.” (sēmeron | σήμερον | adverb)
because this (sēmeron | σήμερον | adverb) very (sēmeron | σήμερον | adverb) day (sēmeron | σήμερον | adverb) there has been born to you, in the city of David, a savior who is Messiah, the Lord.
And Jesus said to him, “I tell you the truth, today (sēmeron | σήμερον | adverb) — this very night, before the rooster crows twice — you will deny me three times.”
