Or do you not know that your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd), whom you have received from God, and you are not your own?
Do you not know that your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never!
Already it is altogether a defeat for you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd), that you have lawsuits with one another. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded?
I say this to your (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) shame! Is there no one among you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) wise enough to settle a dispute between his brothers,
Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd), are you incompetent to try minor cases?
When any of you (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) has a legal dispute against another, how dare he go to law before heathen judges and not before the saints?
But now I am writing to you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is a sexually immoral or greedy person, an idolater, slanderer, drunkard, or swindler — not even to eat with such a one.
