And as for you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? No, you will be brought down to Hades! For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Sodom (Sodomois | Σοδόμοις | dat pl neut), had been done the mighty works done in you it would have remained to this day.

I tell you the truth, it will be more bearable for the land of Sodom (Sodomōn | Σοδόμων | gen pl neut) and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that town.

And they offered him wine mixed (esmyrnismenon | ἐσμυρνισμένον | perf pass ptcp acc sg masc) with myrrh, but he would not take it.

“To the angel of the church in Smyrna (Smyrnē | Σμύρνῃ | dat sg fem) write: The one who is the First and the Last, who died and came to life, has this to say:

And the one sitting there had the appearance of a precious gem — jasper or carnelian — and a rainbow encircled the throne, in appearance like an emerald (smaragdinō | σμαραγδίνῳ | dat sg masc).

where ‘their worm (skōlēx | σκώληξ | nom sg masc) does not die, and the fire is not quenched.’
