Likewise, Sodom (Sodoma | Σόδομα | nom pl neut) and Gomorrah and the neighboring towns, which indulged in sexual immorality in the same way as the angels and pursued unnatural desire, are exhibited as an example by undergoing the punishment of eternal fire.

if by reducing the cities of Sodom (Sodomōn | Σοδόμων | gen pl neut) and Gomorrah to ashes he condemned them to extinction, making them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly,

but on the day in which Lot went out of Sodom (Sodomōn | Σοδόμων | gen pl neut), fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.

I tell you, it will be more bearable for Sodom (Sodomois | Σοδόμοις | dat pl neut) on that day than for that town.

Nevertheless I tell you that it will be more bearable for the land of Sodom (Sodomōn | Σοδόμων | gen pl neut) on the day of judgment than for you.”
