For the foolishness of God is wiser (sophōteron | σοφώτερον | nom sg neut comparative) than the wisdom of men, and the weakness of God is stronger than the strength of men.
Where is the wise (sophos | σοφός | nom sg masc) Where is the scholar? Where is the brilliant debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?
Your obedience is known to all and thus I am rejoicing over you. But I want you to be wise (sophous | σοφούς | acc pl masc) as to what is good, and innocent as to what is evil.
