Resist him, steadfast (stereoi | στερεοί | nom pl masc) in the faith, knowing that the same kind of sufferings are being endured by your fellow believers throughout the world.
But solid (sterea | στερεά | nom sg fem) food is for the mature, for those who by virtue of their maturity have senses that are trained to distinguish good from evil.
For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic elements of God’s revelation. You have become people needing milk, not solid (stereas | στερεᾶς | gen sg fem) food;

We are under pressure from every side, but not crushed (stenochōroumenoi | στενοχωρούμενοι | pres pass ptcp nom pl masc); bewildered, but not driven to despair;
