But as you excel in everything — in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all eagerness, and in the love (agapē | ἀγάπῃ | dat sg fem) we have aroused in you — make sure that you excel in this act of kindness.

For the love (agapē | ἀγάπη | nom sg fem) of Christ controls us, since we have concluded this: that one has died for all; therefore all have died.
