And everyone who has left houses or brothers (adelphous | ἀδελφούς | acc pl masc) or sisters or father or mother or children or lands for my name’s sake will receive a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life.

So also will my heavenly Father do to you, unless you each forgive your brother (adelphō | ἀδελφῷ | dat sg masc) from your heart.”

Then Peter came to Jesus and said, “Lord, how often must I forgive my brother (adelphos | ἀδελφός | nom sg masc) when he sins against me? Up to seven times?”

“If your brother (adelphos | ἀδελφός | nom sg masc) sins, go and point out his fault when the two of you are alone. If he listens to you, you have won back your brother (adelphon | ἀδελφόν | acc sg masc).

Six days later Jesus took Peter and James and John his brother (adelphon | ἀδελφόν | acc sg masc), and led them up a very high mountain by themselves.

For Herod had arrested John, bound him, and put him in prison because of Herodias, the wife of his brother (adelphou | ἀδελφοῦ | gen sg masc) Philip;

Is not this the carpenter’s son? Is not his mother called Mary, and his brothers (adelphoi | ἀδελφοί | nom pl masc) James and Joseph and Simon and Judas?

For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven, he is my brother (adelphos | ἀδελφός | nom sg masc) and sister and mother.”

And stretching out his hand toward his disciples, he said, “Look, here are my mother and my brothers! (adelphoi | ἀδελφοί | nom pl masc)

But he answered, saying to the one who had told him, “Who is my mother? And who are my brothers?” (adelphoi | ἀδελφοί | nom pl masc)
