And everyone who has left houses or brothers (adelphous | ἀδελφούς | acc pl masc) or sisters or father or mother or children or lands for my name’s sake will receive a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life.
Then Peter came to Jesus and said, “Lord, how often must I forgive my brother (adelphos | ἀδελφός | nom sg masc) when he sins against me? Up to seven times?”
“If your brother (adelphos | ἀδελφός | nom sg masc) sins, go and point out his fault when the two of you are alone. If he listens to you, you have won back your brother (adelphon | ἀδελφόν | acc sg masc).
Is not this the carpenter’s son? Is not his mother called Mary, and his brothers (adelphoi | ἀδελφοί | nom pl masc) James and Joseph and Simon and Judas?
