“If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother, and wife and children (tekna | τέκνα | acc pl neut), and brothers and sisters, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple.

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who have been sent to it! How often I wanted to gather your children (tekna | τέκνα | acc pl neut) together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you did not want it!

If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children (teknois | τέκνοις | dat pl neut), how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

Nevertheless, wisdom is proved right by all her children.” (teknōn | τέκνων | gen pl neut)
