Romans 10:18 But I ask, have they not heard? Indeed they have, for, “Their voice (phthongos | φθόγγος | nom sg masc) has gone out to all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.”
1 Corinthians 14:7 It is the same with lifeless things that produce sound, whether flute or harp; if they do not make a difference between notes (phthongois | φθόγγοις | dat pl masc), how will what is being played on the flute or the harp be understood?
