Acts 27:17 After hoisting it up, they passed cables under the ship to hold (hypozōnnyntes | ὑποζωννύντες | pres act ptcp nom pl masc) it together. Then, fearing that they would run aground on the Syrtis, they lowered the sea anchor, and thus they let the ship be driven along.
