Mark 5:4 For he had often been bound with shackles and chains, had been bound but the chains were torn (diespasthai | διεσπάσθαι | perf pass inf ) apart by him the chains and the shackles broken in pieces, and no one was strong enough to subdue him.
Acts 23:10 And when the argument became violent, the commanding officer, afraid that Paul would be torn (diaspasthē | διασπασθῇ | aor pass subj 3 sg) apart by them, commanded the soldiers to go down and take him away from among them by force and bring him into the barracks.
