Hebrews 6:17 Because God wanted to show more clearly to the heirs of the promise the unchanging (ametatheton | ἀμετάθετον | acc sg neut) nature of his purpose, he confirmed it with an oath,
Hebrews 6:18 so that through two unchangeable (ametathetōn | ἀμεταθέτων | gen pl neut) facts, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge might have strong incentive to hold fast to the hope set before us.
