Acts 5:23 saying, “We found the prison locked with every security and the guards (phylakas | φύλακας | acc pl masc) standing at the doors, but when we opened it we found no one inside.”
Acts 12:6 Now when Herod was about to bring him out, on that very night, Peter was asleep between two soldiers, bound with two chains; and guards (phylakes | φύλακες | nom pl masc) before the door were guarding the prison.
