Mark 15:39 And when the centurion (kentyriōn | κεντυρίων | nom sg masc), who was standing in front of him, saw that in this way he had died, he said, “Truly, this man was the son of God!”
Mark 15:44 Pilate was surprised that he was already dead, so summoning the centurion (kentyriōna | κεντυρίωνα | acc sg masc), he asked him if he had been dead for a long time.
