adoption, a placing in the condition of a son, Rom. 8:15, 23; 9:4; Gal. 4:5; Eph. 1:5*

Romans 8:15	For you did not receive the spirit of slavery leading back to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption (huiothesias \| υἱοθεσίας \| gen sg fem). By him we cry out, “Abba! Father!”
