Matthew 3:1 In those days John the Baptist (baptistēs | βαπτιστής | nom sg masc) began his mission in the wilderness of Judea, proclaiming,
Matthew 11:11 “I tell you the truth, there has not risen among those born of women anyone greater than John the Baptist (baptistou | βαπτιστοῦ | gen sg masc); yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
