to which our twelve tribes hope to attain, worshipping strenuously night and day. It is for this hope, your Excellency, that I am being accused by (hypo | ὑπό | prep-gen) Jews!
“Regarding all the things of which I am being accused by (hypo | ὑπό | prep-gen) the Jews, King Agrippa, I consider myself fortunate that it is before you that I am about to make my defense today,
Since they were staying there several days, Festus laid Paul’s case before the king, saying, “There is a man left by (hypo | ὑπό | prep-gen) Felix, a prisoner.
This man was seized by (hypo | ὑπό | prep-gen) the Jews and was about to be killed by (hyp | ὑπ᾿ | prep-gen) them, when I came upon him and, with the soldiers, rescued him, having learned that he was a Roman citizen.
And when the argument became violent, the commanding officer, afraid that Paul would be torn apart by (hyp | ὑπ᾿ | prep-gen) them, commanded the soldiers to go down and take him away from among them by force and bring him into the barracks.
But on the next day, wanting to know for sure what was the accusation being made against him by (hypo | ὑπό | prep-gen) the Jews, he released him and ordered the chief priests and all the council to meet, and he brought Paul down and set him before them.
