For certain men have stolen in unawares — men who long ago were designated for this condemnation — ungodly men who turn the grace (charita | χάριτα | acc sg fem) of our God into an excuse for blatant immorality, and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Grace (charis | χάρις | nom sg fem), mercy, and peace will be with us, from God the Father and from Jesus Christ the Son of the Father, in truth and in love.

But grow in the grace (chariti | χάριτι | dat sg fem) and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and in the eternal day. Amen.

May grace (charis | χάρις | nom sg fem) and peace be yours in ever increasing measure through knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.

By Silvanus, a faithful brother as I regard him, I have written briefly to you, exhorting and testifying that this is the true grace (charin | χάριν | acc sg fem) of God. Stand fast in it.

And the God of all grace (charitos | χάριτος | gen sg fem), the one who has called you into his eternal glory in Christ, will, after you have suffered a little while, himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. And all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace (charin | χάριν | acc sg fem) to the humble.”

Each one should serve others in respect to the gift he has received, as a good steward of (charitos | χάριτος | gen sg fem) the grace (charitos | χάριτος | gen sg fem) of God in its various forms:

Husbands, in the same way, live with them with understanding, showing honor to the woman as a weaker vessel, since you are joint heirs of the gracious gift (charitos | χάριτος | gen sg fem) of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.

For what praise is there if, when you do wrong and are beaten for it, you endure it? But if when you do good and suffer for it you endure it, this is commendable (charis | χάρις | nom sg fem) in God’s sight.
