Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” (There was plenty of grass (chortos | χόρτος | nom sg masc) in that place.) So the men sat down, about five thousand in number.
If God so clothes the grass (chorton | χόρτον | acc sg masc) in the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, you people of little faith!
Then he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass (chortou | χόρτου | gen sg masc), and taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven, said a blessing, and broke the loaves. He gave the loaves to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.
Now if God so clothes the grass (chorton | χόρτον | acc sg masc) of the field, which is here today but tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
Now there came a famine upon all Egypt and Canaan, bringing great affliction, and our fathers could find no food (chortasmata | χορτάσματα | acc pl neut).

and one of you says to them, “Go in peace; stay warm and eat your fill,” (chortazesthe | χορτάζεσθε | pres pass imperative 2 pl) and yet you do not give them what their body needs, what good is that?
