And he said to them, “Be gone.” So they came out and went into the pigs (choirous | χοίρους | acc pl masc). Then the entire herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned in the waters.
“Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls in front of pigs (choirōn | χοίρων | gen pl masc), lest the pigs trample them underfoot, and the dogs turn and tear you to pieces.
And I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, “A quart (choinix | χοῖνιξ | nom sg fem) of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts (choinikes | χοίνικες | nom pl fem) of barley for a denarius, but do not harm the oil and the wine!”
As was the man of dust (choikos | χοι&κός | nom sg masc), so also are those who are of dust (choikoi | χοι&κοί | nom pl masc); and as is the man of heaven, so also are those who are of heaven.
They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any green plant (chlōron | χλωρόν | acc sg neut) or any tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads.
The first angel blew his trumpet, and there followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, and it was thrown down on the earth, and a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green (chlōros | χλωρός | nom sg masc) grass was burned up.
