Let the thief no longer steal, but rather let him work hard, doing good with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with the one in need (chreian | χρείαν | acc sg fem).
whereas our presentable members have no such need (chreian | χρείαν | acc sg fem). Instead, God has so arranged the body, giving greater honor to the member that lacked it,
The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need (chreian | χρείαν | acc sg fem) of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need (chreian | χρείαν | acc sg fem) of you.”
Therefore, brothers, select from among you seven men of good standing, full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we will appoint to carry out this responsibility (chreias | χρείας | gen sg fem).
Now we know that you know all things and have no need (chreian | χρείαν | acc sg fem) for anyone to question you. This is why we believe that you have come forth from God.”
