Let the thief no longer steal, but rather let him work hard, doing good with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with the one in need (chreian | χρείαν | acc sg fem).

whereas our presentable members have no such need (chreian | χρείαν | acc sg fem). Instead, God has so arranged the body, giving greater honor to the member that lacked it,

The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need (chreian | χρείαν | acc sg fem) of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need (chreian | χρείαν | acc sg fem) of you.”

contribute to the needs (chreiais | χρείαις | dat pl fem) of the saints, seek to show hospitality.

They also honored us with many honors, and when we were getting ready to sail, they put on board whatever we needed (chreias | χρείας | acc pl fem).

You yourselves know that these hands of mine provided for my own needs (chreiais | χρείαις | dat pl fem) as well as the needs of those with me.
