For we did not follow cunningly crafted stories when we made known to you the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (Christou | Χριστοῦ | gen sg masc) in power, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will make you effective and productive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (Christou | Χριστοῦ | gen sg masc).
Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ (Christou | Χριστοῦ | gen sg masc), to those who have received a faith that through the justice of our God and Savior Jesus Christ (Christou | Χριστοῦ | gen sg masc) is of equal privilege with ours:
And the God of all grace, the one who has called you into his eternal glory in Christ (Christō | Χριστῷ | dat sg masc), will, after you have suffered a little while, himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
Therefore I, a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ (Christou | Χριστοῦ | gen sg masc), and a partaker of the glory that is about to be revealed, exhort the elders among you:
If you are insulted for the name of Christ (Christou | Χριστοῦ | gen sg masc), you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory, that is, the Spirit of God, is resting on you.
But rejoice insofar as you now share the sufferings of Christ (Christou | Χριστοῦ | gen sg masc), so that when his glory is revealed, you may also rejoice and be glad.
