took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him. They began to cry out, “Hosanna! (hōsanna | ὡσαννά | acc sg neut) Blessed in the name of the Lord is the coming one, even the king of Israel!”
And those who went before and those who followed were crying out, “Hosanna! (hōsanna | ὡσαννά | interjection) Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!
But when the ruling priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the boys who were crying out in the temple, “Hosanna (hōsanna | ὡσαννά | interjection) to the Son of David!” they were indignant,
The crowds that went before him and those that followed were shouting, “Hosanna (hōsanna | ὡσαννά | interjection) to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna (hōsanna | ὡσαννά | interjection) in the highest!”
The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each of the gates was made of a single pearl. And the main street of the city was pure gold, like (hōs | ὡς | particle) transparent glass.
