So I took the little scroll from the hand of the angel and ate it. In my mouth it was as sweet as (hōs | ὡς | particle) honey, but when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter.

They had breastplates like (hōs | ὡς | particle) breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like (hōs | ὡς | particle) the sound of many horse-drawn chariots rushing into battle.
In appearance the locusts were like horses prepared for battle. On their heads were something like (hōs | ὡς | particle) crowns of gold, and their faces were like (hōs | ὡς | particle) human faces.
They were allowed not to kill them but to torture them for five months, and their torture was like (hōs | ὡς | particle) the torture of a scorpion when it stings a person.
