Then the angel said to me, “The waters that you saw, where the prostitute is seated, are peoples, multitudes (ochloi | ὄχλοι | nom pl masc), nations, and languages.
After this I looked, and behold, a vast multitude (ochlos | ὄχλος | nom sg masc) that no one could count, people from every nation, tribe, cultural group, and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands,
and they did not find me arguing with anyone or stirring up a crowd (ochlou | ὄχλου | gen sg masc), either in the temple or in the synagogues or in the city.
Some in the crowd (ochlō | ὄχλῳ | dat sg masc) were shouting one thing, some another, and since he was unable to find out the truth because of the uproar, he ordered him to be brought into the barracks.
When the seven days were about to be completed, the Jews from Asia, upon seeing him in the temple, stirred up the whole crowd (ochlon | ὄχλον | acc sg masc) and laid hands on him,
And when the city clerk had quieted the crowd (ochlon | ὄχλον | acc sg masc), he said, “Men of Ephesus, what man is there who does not know that the city of the Ephesians is the temple keeper of the great Artemis and of her image that fell from heaven?
And some of the crowd (ochlou | ὄχλου | gen sg masc) prompted Alexander, the Jews pushing him forward. And Alexander motioned with his hand and wanted to make a defense to the crowd.
And you see and hear that not only in Ephesus but in almost all of Asia this Paul has persuaded and turned away a considerable number (ochlon | ὄχλον | acc sg masc) of people, saying that gods made by hand are not gods at all.
