And if anyone will not receive you or listen to your message, as you leave that house or that town (poleōs | πόλεως | gen sg fem) shake off the dust from your feet.

And whatever town (polin | πόλιν | acc sg fem) or village you enter, find out who in it is worthy and stay there until you leave.

These twelve Jesus sent out after instructing them as follows: “Do not go among the Gentiles and do not enter any Samaritan town (polin | πόλιν | acc sg fem);

And Jesus went throughout all their cities (poleis | πόλεις | acc pl fem) and towns, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness.

So Jesus got into a boat, crossed to the other side, and went to his own town (polin | πόλιν | acc sg fem).

Then the entire town (polis | πόλις | nom sg fem) went out to meet Jesus; and when they saw him, they begged him to leave their region.

The herdsmen fled, went into the town (polin | πόλιν | acc sg fem), and told everything that had happened to the demoniacs.

nor by the earth, for it is a footstool for his feet, nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city (polis | πόλις | nom sg fem) of the great King.

You are the light of the world. A city (polis | πόλις | nom sg fem) built on a hill cannot be hidden.
