They rose up, drove him out of the town (poleōs | πόλεως | gen sg fem), and took him to a cliff of the hill on which their town (polis | πόλις | nom sg fem) was built, so that they could cast him down.
And when they had completed everything according to the law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their own town (polin | πόλιν | acc sg fem), Nazareth.
So Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the town (poleōs | πόλεως | gen sg fem) of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city (polin | πόλιν | acc sg fem) of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David,
And he sent two of his disciples and said to them, “Go into the city (polin | πόλιν | acc sg fem) and a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you; follow him.
