cargo such as gold, silver, precious stones, and pearls; fine linen, purple (porphyras | πορφύρας | gen sg fem), silk, and scarlet cloth; all kinds of things made of citron wood, all kinds of articles made of ivory, and all kinds of articles made of costly wood, bronze, iron, and marble;

A certain man was rich, and he was dressed in purple (porphyran | πορφύραν | acc sg fem) and fine linen and he made merry every day in a luxurious manner.

And when they had finished mocking him, they stripped him of the purple (porphyran | πορφύραν | acc sg fem) robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him out to crucify him.

And they clothed him in purple (porphyran | πορφύραν | acc sg fem); and twisting some thorns into a crown, they placed it on him.
