And he placed all things under Christ’s feet (podas | πόδας | acc pl masc) and gave him as head over all things to the church,

For “he has put everything in subjection under his feet.” (podas | πόδας | acc pl masc) Now when it says that “everything has been put in subjection,” it is clear that this does not include the one who put everything in subjection to him.

For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet (podas | πόδας | acc pl masc).

The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet (posin | ποσίν | dat pl masc), “I have no need of you.”

If the foot (pous | πούς | nom sg masc) should say, “Since I am not a hand, I am not part of the body,” it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body.

The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet (podas | πόδας | acc pl masc). May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

And how are they to proclaim the message unless they are sent? As it is written, “How timely are the feet (podes | πόδες | nom pl masc) of those who preach good news!”
