Jesus responded saying, “I tell you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) the solemn truth, you are not looking for me because you saw miraculous signs, but because you ate the loaves and had all you wanted.

Do not think that I will accuse you (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) before the Father; the one who accuses you (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) is Moses, on whom you (hymeis | ὑμεῖς | nom pl 2nd) have set your hope.

How can you (hymeis | ὑμεῖς | nom pl 2nd) believe, when you accept praise from one another but do not seek the praise that comes from the only God?

but I know you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd) — I know that you do not have the love of God in you.

“You study the Scriptures because you (hymeis | ὑμεῖς | nom pl 2nd) think that by them you will have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me,

and his word you do not have residing in you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd), because you (hymeis | ὑμεῖς | nom pl 2nd) do not believe the one whom he sent.

He was a lamp that was burning and giving light, and you (hymeis | ὑμεῖς | nom pl 2nd) were willing for a time to rejoice in his light.

(Not that I accept such human testimony, but I say these things so that you (hymeis | ὑμεῖς | nom pl 2nd) may be saved.)

You (hymeis | ὑμεῖς | nom pl 2nd) have sent messengers to John, and he has borne witness to the truth.

“I tell you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) the solemn truth, the hour is coming and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.
