What can it mean, this saying of his: ‘You will look for me but you will not find me,’ and ‘Where I am you (hymeis | ὑμεῖς | nom pl 2nd) cannot go’?”

You will look for me, but you will not find me; and where I am, you (hymeis | ὑμεῖς | nom pl 2nd) cannot go.”

Then Jesus said, “I will be with you (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) for a little while longer, and then I am going back to the one who sent me.

Then Jesus, as he was teaching in the temple, cried out, saying, know me, and you know where I am from? I have not come on my own. But the one who sent me is true, and him you (hymeis | ὑμεῖς | nom pl 2nd) do not know;

Moses gave you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) circumcision — not that it is from Moses, but from the patriarchs — and you circumcise a man on the Sabbath.

“Has not Moses given you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) the law? Yet not one of you (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) keeps the law. Why are you trying to kill me?”

You go up to the festival yourselves (hymeis | ὑμεῖς | nom pl 2nd); I am not going up to this festival, for my time has not yet fully come.”

The world cannot hate you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd), but it hates me because I am bearing witness against it that its works are evil.

Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd), the twelve? Yet one of you (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) is a devil.”

Jesus therefore said to the twelve, “You (hymeis | ὑμεῖς | nom pl 2nd) do not want to leave me like the others, do you?”
