But the twelve understood none of these things; in fact, what he said (rhēma | ῥῆμα | nom sg neut) was kept hidden from them and they did not grasp what was being said.

But they did not understand this saying (rhēma | ῥῆμα | acc sg neut). It was concealed from them, so that they might not understand it; and they were afraid to ask him about this saying (rhēmatos | ῥήματος | gen sg neut).

After he had finished speaking all his sayings (rhēmata | ῥήματα | acc pl neut) in the ears of the people, he entered Capernaum.

But Simon responded, saying, “Master, all night long we have toiled and have caught nothing! But at your word (rhēmati | ῥήματι | dat sg neut) I will lower the nets.”
