then the Lord knows how to (rhyesthai | ῥύεσθαι | pres mid inf ) rescue (rhyesthai | ῥύεσθαι | pres mid inf ) the godly from trial, but to keep the unrighteous under guard awaiting punishment on the day of judgment,

and rescued (errysato | ἐρρύσατο | aor mid ind 3 sg) the righteous man Lot, who was distressed by the immoral lifestyle of lawless men

The Lord will rescue (rhysetai | ῥύσεται | fut mid ind 3 sg) me from every evil deed and will bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom, to whom be glory in the ages of ages, Amen.

But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation might be fulfilled, namely, all the Gentiles might hear, and I was rescued (errysthēn | ἐρρύσθην | aor pass ind 1 sg) from the mouth of a lion.

my persecutions, my sufferings, which happened to me in Antioch, in Iconium, in Lystra, which persecutions I endured, and out of all these the Lord rescued (errysato | ἐρρύσατο | aor mid ind 3 sg) me.

On him we have set our hope that he (rhysetai | ῥύσεται | fut mid ind 3 sg) will (rhysetai | ῥύσεται | fut mid ind 3 sg) deliver (rhysetai | ῥύσεται | fut mid ind 3 sg) us yet again,

that I may be delivered (rhysthō | ῥυσθῶ | aor pass subj 1 sg) from those in Judea who refuse to believe, and that my service to Jerusalem may prove truly acceptable to the saints,
