But he remained silent (esiōpa | ἐσιώπα | imperf act ind 3 sg) and answered back nothing. Again the high priest questioned him and said to him, “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed?”
And many were sternly telling him to be quiet (siōpēsē | σιωπήσῃ | aor act subj 3 sg); but all the more he kept crying out, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”
So he got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Be still! (siōpa | σιώπα | pres act imperative 2 sg) Settle down!” Then the wind died down and there was a great calm. great
And he said to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy it?” But they remained silent (esiōpōn | ἐσιώπων | imperf act ind 3 pl).
But Jesus remained silent (esiōpa | ἐσιώπα | imperf act ind 3 sg). Then the high priest said to him, “I put you under oath by the living God, tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God.”
The crowd rebuked them and told them (siōpēsōsin | σιωπήσωσιν | aor act subj 3 pl) to be quiet (siōpēsōsin | σιωπήσωσιν | aor act subj 3 pl), but they cried out all the louder, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”
Then I looked, and behold, I saw a Lamb standing on Mount Zion (Siōn | Σιών | acc sg fem); and with him were one hundred and forty-four thousand who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.
For it says in scripture, “Behold, I lay in Zion (Siōn | Σιών | dat sg fem) a stone, a cornerstone chosen and precious, and the one who believes in him will never be put to shame.”
On the contrary, you have come to Mount Zion (Siōn | Σιών | dat sg fem), even to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels, to a joyful assembly,
