I continually thank God, whom I serve, as did my ancestors, with a clean conscience, as unceasingly I remember you (sou | σοῦ | gen sg 2nd) in my prayers night and day,

to keep the commandment unblemished and above reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ,

I urge you (soi | σοι | dat sg 2nd), in the presence of God who gives life to all things and Christ Jesus who witnessed in the time of Pontius Pilate the good confession,

But you (sy | σύ | nom sg 2nd), man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness.

(No longer drink only water, but use a little wine, on account of your stomach and your (sou | σου | gen sg 2nd) frequent illnesses.)

Watch yourself and the teaching; be persistent in them; for by so doing you will save both yourself and those hearing you (sou | σου | gen sg 2nd).

Continually practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so that your (sou | σου | gen sg 2nd) progress might be visible to all.

Do not neglect the gift that is in you (soi | σοί | dat sg 2nd), which was given to you (soi | σοι | dat sg 2nd) through prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the body of elders.

Let no one treat you contemptuously because of your (sou | σου | gen sg 2nd) youth, but be an example for the faithful in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
