no longer as a slave, but more than a slave, as a dear brother. He is especially so to me, but how much more to you (soi | σοί | dat sg 2nd), both in the flesh and in the Lord.

but I did not want to do anything without your consent, so that your (sou | σου | gen sg 2nd) helpfulness might not be by compulsion but by your own free will.

I wanted to keep him with me, so that he could minister to me on your (sou | σοῦ | gen sg 2nd) behalf during my imprisonment for the gospel,

I am sending him back to you (soi | σοι | dat sg 2nd), that is, the one who is my own heart.

Formerly he was of no use to you (soi | σοι | dat sg 2nd), but now he has become useful both to you (soi | σοί | dat sg 2nd) and to me.

I appeal to you (se | σε | acc sg 2nd) for my child, Onesimus, whose father I became while in prison.

So, although in Christ I have sufficient freedom to order you (soi | σοι | dat sg 2nd) to do what you ought,

For I have derived much joy and encouragement from your (sou | σου | gen sg 2nd) love, my brother, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed by you (sou | σοῦ | gen sg 2nd).

And I pray that the sharing of your (sou | σου | gen sg 2nd) faith may become effective in the knowledge of every good thing that belongs to us in Christ.

because I hear of your (sou | σου | gen sg 2nd) love for all the saints and your faith in the Lord Jesus.
