It was from the offspring of this man that God according to promise brought to Israel a savior (sōtēra | σωτῆρα | acc sg masc), Jesus.

God exalted this Jesus to his own right hand as Leader and Savior (sōtēra | σωτῆρα | acc sg masc), so as to provide repentance for Israel and the remission of sins.

They said to the woman, “No longer is it because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard him for ourselves, and we know that this man truly is the Savior (sōtēr | σωτήρ | nom sg masc) of the world.”
