Now this I declare, brothers, that flesh and blood (haima | αἷμα | nom sg neut) cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.
Whoever, therefore, eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood (haimatos | αἵματος | gen sg neut) of the Lord.
In the same way, he took the cup also, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood (haimati | αἵματι | dat sg neut). Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.”
The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a sharing in the blood (haimatos | αἵματος | gen sg neut) of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a sharing in the body of Christ?
whom God set forth as an atoning sacrifice by his blood (haimati | αἵματι | dat sg neut), obtainable through faith. This was to demonstrate his righteousness, because God in his forbearance had passed over previous sins.
And when the blood (haima | αἷμα | nom sg neut) of Stephen, your witness, was being shed, I myself was standing by approving and guarding the cloaks of those who were killing him.’
But as for the Gentiles who have believed, we sent a letter with our judgment that they should abstain from what has been sacrificed to idols, and from blood (haima | αἷμα | acc sg neut), and from what has been strangled, and from sexual immorality.”
