But regarding the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever (aiōnos | αἰῶνος | gen sg masc), and the scepter of absolute justice is the scepter of your kingdom.
but in these final days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom he also created the material universe (aiōnas | αἰῶνας | acc pl masc).
teaching us that, having denied the ungodliness and the worldly passions, we should live in a self-controlled manner and justly and reverently in the present age (aiōni | αἰῶνι | dat sg masc),
The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and will bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom, to whom be glory in the ages (aiōnas | αἰῶνας | acc pl masc) of ages (aiōnōn | αἰώνων | gen pl masc), Amen.
for Demas deserted me because he loved the present age (aiōna | αἰῶνα | acc sg masc) and has gone to Thessalonica, Crescens to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia.
Urge the rich in the present age (aiōni | αἰῶνι | dat sg masc) not to be haughty, or to set their hope on the uncertainty of riches but on God who grants to us all things richly for our enjoyment,
Now to the king of ages (aiōnōn | αἰώνων | gen pl masc), incorruptible, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for all time (aiōnas | αἰῶνας | acc pl masc). Amen.
