For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision (akrobystia | ἀκροβυστία | nom sg fem) counts for anything, but only faith expressing itself through love.
But on the contrary, when they saw that I had been entrusted with the gospel for the uncircumcised (akrobystias | ἀκροβυστίας | gen sg fem) just as Peter had been entrusted with the gospel for the circumcised
If a man was already circumcised when he was called, he should not conceal his circumcision. If a man was not circumcised when he was called, he should not submit to circumcision.
He is also the father of the circumcised who are not merely circumcised but also walk in the footsteps of the faith that our father Abraham had while he was still uncircumcised (akrobystia | ἀκροβυστίᾳ | dat sg fem).
He received the sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised (akrobystia | ἀκροβυστίᾳ | dat sg fem), so that he would be the father of all who believe but have never been circumcised, that they too might have righteousness credited to them.
Therefore, is this blessedness for the circumcised alone, or is it also for the uncircumcised (akrobystian | ἀκροβυστίαν | acc sg fem)? For we say, “It was to Abraham that faith was credited as righteousness.”
Since God is one, he will justify the circumcised on the basis of their faith and the uncircumcised (akrobystian | ἀκροβυστίαν | acc sg fem) by the same faith.
